1 Day Mini Retreat to welcome in the Autumn Equinox

Saturday 21st March, 10am - 3pm

1 Day mini retreat with our founder Judes & State of Sahaja teacher, Angela.

Come spend 5 delicious hours with Judes & Angela as we come together to support one another to relax, renew & rejuvenate as we welcome in this change of season, the Autumn Equinox.

The mini interactive retreat will be beautiful time to nourish and take some time for you.  We will have a renewing yin practice, sound healing, pranayamas breathing techniques  and learn a simple meditation you can take home and apply into our everyday life; as well as expereince other tools to aid in taking care of your mind and heart.

All materials will be supplies, as well as a light lunch.

About Judes

Judes is an ERYT1500 with Yoga Alliance and has been living her calling of sharing yoga since 2005.  She started the Gold Coast's first certified B Coporations for her yoga mat company and yoga studio, the worlds first & only yoga studio to have this certification in 2019.   Judes grew up on the Gold Coast and moved away in 2000 and she returned back home in 2015 to heal from trauma that lead her to be diagnosed with PTSD.  She has used all the practices she has learned, as tools to help her heal her body and get her mind health back.  Judes was initiated into Vedic Meditation by Thom Knowles in 2013 when she was living in Los Angeles and has been living and breathing her dharma of teaching yoga & mindfulness, since she was 26.  She has studied with renowned international teachers from Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, Carlos Pomeda, Sarah Powers, Joe Barnett and most recently with her own teacher, Anand Metrotra in Sattva Yoga

Judes teaches Sattva Yoga: Himalayan Kundalini, breathwork, yin yoga, Prana Vinyasa flow, restorative, hatha yoga and meditation. 

About Angela

Angela is one of our founding State of Sahaja yoga teachers and has been practising yoga for 20 years, and teaching for 13 years.  She completed her 500-hour Diploma in Yoga Teaching at Nature Care College in Sydney in 2007 and has always had a deep interest in the therapeutic applications of yoga.  In 2017 Angela graduated her Yoga Therapy training and is registered with AAYT and Yoga Australia as a Yoga Therapist and Level 2 teacher.   Angela regularly updates her skills by attending workshops and trainings and is greatly motivated by the increasing evidence-based research emerging in the field of yoga studies.

Angela teaches Restorative yoga, gentle yoga and yin yoga.

As we are a socially forward yoga studio and a Certified B Corporation, we donate a percentage of workshops towards charity. So when you join our workshops, not only do you get to create a shift within yourself, but we get to also contribute to the betterment of another persons life.
