Sattva Himalayan Meditation is a comprehensive kriya-based, mantra-based technique.  It is a seated meditation practice that stems from the Himalayan Yog-vedantic tradition.   This is a comprehensive, yet simply & very effective technique which consists of Breathwork, kriya & mantra. 

When practiced 20-30 minutes daily, it can benefit all aspects of your life & deepen your connection to the field of silence. The more access we have to silence, the greater the access we have to our natural intelligence.   Sattva Himalayan Meditation is a simple, practical and highly effective meditation technique that has profound benefits for the body and mind, and it can be practiced anywhere.

About Judes

Judes is an ERYT1500+ with Yoga Alliance Australia and has been living her calling of sharing yoga since 2005.  She started the Gold Coast's first certified B Coporations for her yoga mat company , Sahaja Yoga mats and yoga studio, the worlds first & only yoga studio to have this certification in 2019.   Judes grew up on the Gold Coast and moved away in 2000. She returned back home in 2015 to heal from trauma that lead her to be diagnosed with PTSD.  She has used all the practices she has learned, as tools to help her heal her body and get her mind health back on track.  Judes was initiated into Vedic Meditation by Thom Knowles in 2013 when she was living in Los Angeles and has been living and breathing her dharma of teaching yoga & mindfulness, since she was 26.  She has studied with renowned international teachers from Shiva Rea, Baron Baptiste, Seane Corn, Carlos Pomeda, Sarah Powers, Joe Barnett and most recently with her own teacher, Anand Metrotra in Sattva Yoga

Judes teaches Sattva Yoga: Himalayan Kundalini, yin yoga, Prana Vinyasa flow, restorative, hatha yoga and meditation. 

About RiTika

Ritika is a master Sattva yoga teacher who has studied with Anand Mehrotra in Rishikesh, at the foothills of the Himalayas, since 2007. In 2019 she immersed herself into the first ever Vedic astrology course offered by Anand Mehrotra. Ritika runs a retreat centre, Sattva Sanctuary Australia with her husband Eran in Burringbar, close to Byron Bay where she teaches gives Vedic Astrology readings, teaches Sattva yoga & meditation.

As we are a socially forward yoga studio and a Certified B Corporation, we donate a percentage of workshops towards charity and our 2 day meditation course is no different. So when you join our workshops, not only do you get to create a shift within yourself, but we get to also contribute to the betterment of another persons life.
