Sacred Fire ceremony to celebrate Navaratri.

  • Sattva Sanctuary 72 Howards Road Burringbar, NSW Australia (map)

Devi Yagya/Havana: Sacred Fire ceremony to celebrate Navaratri.

Navaratri is a combination of two words, Nava: means nine and Ratri: means nights. So it is a nine day festival honouring  the nine forms of Shakti (Goddess Durga).

Yagya or Havana is a sacred Vedic fire ceremony and has been used from time immemorial to invoke the Shakti of Agni (fire) to purify, to destroy and to transmute. Yagyas are a beautiful sattvic ritual to experience.

Come join us for a Devi Yagya to celebrate this beautiful time and to tap into our own inner Shakti. It is also a beautiful day for us to honour our Anzacs too.

We will be chanting sacred mantras, fire offerings and brief pranayama practice to lead us into the ceromony.  We will have some food at the end, so please bring a plate to share too.

Sunday April 25th | 4pm | At Sattva Sanctuary, Burringbar NSW

Investment: $50*

*plus booking fee.
